Jack Meets Jamie
Storyboard Summary: In this storyboard, drawn by artist Louie del Carmen, we see Jack looking on at a figure skater. It is not until he hears Jamie’s voice in the distance that he is broken out of his trance. Curious, Jack follows the sound of Jamie’s voice until he comes upon Jamie, Claude, and Caleb discussing Jamie’s belief in mystical and mythical creatures such as leprechauns and Bigfoot. After Claude arrogantly (Claude is a lot more… cocky here than he is in the movie; it’s interesting) reassures Jamie that there is “no such thing as the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus”, the three boys start to walk off, but not before Jamie’s mother places a winter hat on his head. Jamie asks “Who’s Jack Frost?”, and Jack, having seen the exchange, looks on at Jamie in sadness as the young boys wander off.
